Anniversary of an Extraordinary Soul: Yvonne-Aimée de Jésus

Yvonne-Aimee

February 3, 2016, marks the 65th anniversary of the death of Servant of God Yvonne-Aimée de Jésus. This privileged spouse of Jesus was the recipient of countless graces, including many extraordinary charismata. She bilocated, she prophesied, she had the stigmata. She was tormented by the devil. She let nothing shake her childlike trust in Jesus, King of Love. She was full of love for God and His Church. She sacrificed herself for others, especially priests.

“Only those who were very close to her [Mother Yvonne-Aimée] know to what point she suffered, in a great spirit of Redemption, most especially for priests.”

– Abbé Courtois

Let us ask for her powerful intercession; that we may give ourselves anew to God each moment, and that we may profit from the light that Our Lord imparted to her.

Three Revelations to Yvonne-Aimée de Jésus (from Jesus)

+ The value of small things (a confirmation of the little way):

“I may not give you anything very much to do… but whatever it is, I want you to do it really well, and do it purely for love of Me.”

+ A lesson on humility:

“Realize that, left to yourself, you are nothing, because this will make you more wholly dependent upon your Lord Whom you love above all else. Try to be like the dust. Dust is not concerned about the good opinion of those who trample on it.”

+ The Malice of a Backbiting:

“A vicious tongue is more cruel than the lance which pierced My Heart. When it wounds another, it wounds a part of My Body – indeed, it wounds My Living Body, whereas the lance only pierced My dead Body. It causes Me more pain than the thorns caused My Head, or the nails My Feet and Hands. I love whoever it is whom that vicious tongue has attacked – I gave My own life for them.”

  1. That’s quite the response there, Tommy! Thanks for sharing!

Sr. Gertrude Mary was another holy soul who prayed fervently for priests.

I have heard of Catalina and Maria Simma, but I have to be very selective with my reading; so, if I read private revelations, it tends to be those of Servants of God, Venerables, Blesseds and Saints. That is not to discredit the revelations of anyone else; this choice is simply the fruit of my own discernment.

An excellent means of delivering the holy souls in Purgatory is to offer our every act in reparation, in union with Jesus and Mary. The Mass, of course, is the Supreme Act.

  2. No worries, Elizabeth!

Absolutely. It is beautiful to think that at every Mass, the entire Heavenly Court is present (the Council of Oxford).

Here are some words for you:

“Receive in your arms the Blessed Fruit of my womb. Love Him, for He is worthy of being loved.”
    – Our Lady to Bl. Elizabeth Canori–Mora

    Pax!

  3. I really like this site so here is a gift to it and those who come here. An easy way, NOT to go to Purgatory. You need not accept this gift, however, for those who want it…..Catalina Rivas is a Mystic who has the Stigmata…she has written several books and has the support of her Bishops on locutions from Jesus (her book on the Mass and what is happening in reality with the attendance of angels and re-enactment of the Crucifixion is in line with Father Martin Van Cochem and various Saints…).

Her books have the Imprimatur of the Archbishop…. My research (and all I do basically after a life of being pretty much a professional researcher, besides Mass and related functions, is research the Mystics and Saints) convinces me she is authentic and her revelations are real and extremely important, helpful and recent in time to us, not a thousand years ago in an ancient language mistranslated…..

Recently, I have been in my prayers and actions for the Holy Souls daily, and I spend a lot of time on them because, well, er they are on fire, telling them I do not want to go to Purgatory and be on fire also–the more I read/research about it the more horrific it sounds. Revered Mystic of the Holy Souls, and again supported by her Bishop when alive, Maria Simma stated the normal person is in Purgatory 30-40 years basically, that would be you probably, in pain way past what anyone ever suffered on earth or could even imagine, being “purified”–burnt alive, frozen alive, bathed in molten lead, submerged in filth, undergoing every torture imaginable, agonizing over not being in the beatific vision they experienced briefly at death and now bereft of God– but not despondent as they know Purgatory will end but not when, but hoping prayers and deeds come from us to shorten their time– helping us when we help them–many more times what we do for them. In fact a Mystic I read stated they did much more for them than the Saints did…I believe this because they are so ignored and given their circumstances of not being able to benefit anymore from their own prayers, we are their only help (sad thought when you look around….)….

To make this short, I was guided over to Catalina who I had never heard of and started getting massive benefit out of her books immediately, locutions from Jesus on the Mass, Confession, Passion, etc., and came upon this on page on page 11 of her book “The Passion” dictated to her by Jesus: “You will soon know that I had to tell you this because I love you and because I promise the remission of all temporal punishment owed those who pray for My priests. There shall be no Purgatory for those who grieve for the lukewarm priests, but rather they will go to Paradise immediately after their last breath.”–I pray a quick Our Father when I get up and started praying a Rosary later in the day for “the lukewarm priests”, probably less would suffice but it sounds like a deal no one should pass up, at the very least no “contempt before investigation”…. book:http://catalinarivas.excerptsofinri.com/pdf/Eng-TP-Lg.pdf

Here is a link where a debunker went after her, investigated, and converted and became Catholic: http://www.pdtsigns.com/Rivas.html Here is his home page now which is very good on why no one who has any brains could possibly not know that Jesus existed, is busy trying to get our attention now, and to ignore him is insane: http://www.pdtsigns.com/ You can investigate for yourself, I know if I had not been led to it I would have been real happy if someone mentioned this to me….

Pray for the Holy Souls all you can…It would seem, you can obtain a “double indulgence” daily, all day long this Jubilee Year, due to Pope Francis’ declaration of the Year Of Mercy. For performing a “corporal work of mercy”, one of which is praying for the dead, you receive a plenary indulgence and after that a partial indulgence each time you do so. Pope Francis states in his letter on this: “I have asked the Church in this Jubilee Year to rediscover the richness encompassed by the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. The experience of mercy, indeed, becomes visible in the witness of concrete signs as Jesus himself taught us. Each time that one of the faithful personally performs one or more of these actions, he or she shall surely obtain the Jubilee Indulgence.”

The prayer from the current in force Manual Of Indulgences “Requiem Aerternam” provides a partial indulgence for the Holy Souls suffering in Purgatory each time you say it: “Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace.” Praying for the dead is a corporal work of mercy, meaning each time you say this prayer not only does a Holy Soul get an indulgence but you do also. In Saint Faustina’s Diary Jesus told her at paragraph 274: ”The second light concerns speaking. I sometimes talk too much. A thing could be settled in one or two words, and as for me, I take too much time about it. But Jesus wants me to use that time to say some short indulgenced prayers for the souls in PURGATORY. And the Lord says that every word will be weighed on the day of judgment.”
This officially indulgenced prayer is easy to memorize, and like Saint Faustina, you can easily get into the habit of saying it all day long instead of worrying or talking too much as Saint Faustina was warned. You also help the Holy Souls with your intention they all should benefit and help yourself greatly…. God bless you!

  4. So welcomed and needed today…thank you for this beautiful writing about Yvonne-Aimee, especially our Lord’s words to her…and us. Remembering such faithful souls helps us to remember they are in Heaven to help us while on earth. Pax!
